Marldon man dies following car crash in Kingskerswell

A man in his 40s from the Marldon area died yesterday morning (July 4) after his vehicle collided with a tree near Kingskerswell.

The accident happened between 7am and 7.20am when a green Mitsubishi Delica crashed into a tree close to the entrance to Stoneycombe Quarry. 

The driver died at the scene. A police spokesman confirmed that his family has been informed.
