Good parking spots in Paignton

Thought it would be good to suggest good parking spots in Paignton for tourists and locals alike. I would recommend Cleveland Road, off Esplanade Road. You can nearly always get a spot and its free. Then only a two or free minute walk and you're on Torbay Road.

There used to be several areas (hiddem gems) that were free but now the dreaded metres have come along and spoilt everything.

Park in the Crossways Centre, Fully refurbished Car Park only £3 all day.

The price of parking was, is and always will be the biggest annoyance in the Bay.

I want to know why it is so expensive to park in the bay. My wife hails from Calne in Wiltshire. The town centre council owned Car Park is 50p for up to 3 hours, and I was recently in Dorchester - same: 50p/3 hrs. Come on Torbay Council, stop taking the micky.

My road's pretty good for parking which is only a five minute walk from town but I'd better not reveal it's location or my dad will kill me! ;-)
