I tried this place once after a night out in Paignton (I usualy visit Pappas en route from the seafront pubs to the taxi rank) and ordered my usual chicken kebab meat with salad. The food tasted good (as it usually does after a beer) and the staff were friendly. So couldn't fault it really. And my tummy felt OK the next too!

Large kebab
I used to a large kebab from there ( without the hot sauce) and it was delicious.I am looking forward to visiting again and placing the same order

Worst service ever
I have to say I am disgusted with the service and attitude from both staff and management. I have had both takeaway and delivery from this establishment and on both occasions they continue to disappoint. The food is left over from the day before as many people have quoted, the staff are usually out back on the computer and very rarely available for when you are ordering. On this occasion I thought I would try a delivery. Little did I know, I would use a card to pay for someone elses meal. My food was delivered to two boys sat on a wall near by. They refused to refund me or replace the food they failed to deliver. Eventually and unfortunately the only way to get my money back, was to involve the police. Which "apparently" isn't the first time this has happened.

The best cheese and chips with mayonnaise
Sometimes my route to midnight on a Paignton night out leads me to this fine eatery and my top prescription here is a chicken kebab with chilli, salad and... garlic mayonnaise (make sure you leave your bedroom window slightly ajar over night or you may get some complaints from good ol' mum when she delivers you your hangover cup of tea the next day).
If I'm a little skint though the cheese, chips and 'normal' mayonnaise are definitely the best in Paignton and I've even been known to eat a portion sober they're so tasty!By thespinthief at 09:02 on 01/04/10
