good local supermarket
This is a good-size local supermarket, handy if you live in town and haven’t got a car to go to the other superstores on the outskirts of Paignton. It’s a bit more expensive than its rivals and they seem to have less special offers than the others. If you are on a budget, shop there in the afternoon — they offer lots of discounted food with sell-by or use-by date about to expire and you can pick up many bargains then. Staff are always very helpful and friendly.

Now Co-operative Food
Just visited for the first time for ages. Staff were very helpful and polite.
The prices are a litte more than Somerfield but we were pleased to see the range of Fairtrade goods they sell. (the chocolate is well worth a try)By SidParpsworth at 21:26 on 06/08/10
