Police appeal for information after alleged rape in Blagdon Road, Paignton: The victim's vehicle was a silver Peugeot Estate.
It occurred in Blagdon Road (near the junction with Totnes Road in Collaton St Mary) on Friday, October 21.
Police are appealing for anyone who has any information, or may have witnessed the incident, to contact police by phoning 101 and quoting log 525 21/10/11.

UPDATE 26/10/11 - Police have issued a photograph of the Peugeot Estate vehicle used by the victim and ask that anyone who saw this vehicle in Blagdon Road on Friday, October 21 between 3-3.30pm to contact them on telephone number 101 quoting police reference 525 211011.
The victim of the alleged rape is a woman in her 30s and the suspect is described as being a white man, approximately 6ft in height and stocky build.
Police are aware of a number of rumours and speculation circulating on social media sites at the moment regarding the alleged rape, which are inaccurate and can distort the truth. Police advise that this can be unhelpful to the investigation.
Police would like to reiterate that the investigation team are treating this allegation seriously and have substantial resources allocated to it.
Stranger rape is a rare occurrence and every effort is being made to bring the investigation to a satisfactory conclusion.

ReportUPDATE 24/10/11 - Police are still appealing for information after someone was raped in a lay-by on Blagdon Road last Friday (October 21).
Anyone who travelled on this road (near Totnes Road junction) on the day, and in particular between 3-3.30pm, is asked to contact police on telephone number 101 quoting log 814 of 221011.
DI Mark Norman said: "We would also appreciate those people who contact us if they could specify the make and registration number of the vehicle they were travelling in or any other mode of transport i.e. walking, cycling etc.
"Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated."
