A great find, The food is good home cooked food and presented nicely, The staff were lovely and attentive. Well cooked fish, great steak cooked as asked for and the desserts are amazing and worth a visit just for them. I will be back to try the carvery soon...

Our pub & bar in Torquay

We're famous for our carvery. But our bar is perhaps Torquay's best kept secret. With real ales, fine wines and all your favourite tipples at your disposal, there's nothing stopping you from having a good time.

Feel free to enjoy a few evening drinks in our outdoor beer garden, with stunning views over Lyme Bay. Then move inside and join in the light hearted debates with the regulars. Settle them over a free game of darts. If you'd prefer, a game of pool is still only 50p.

Regular events and live music keep you entertained, so come down with friends, family and perhaps a camera and enjoy yourself this evening.

Our restaurant in Torquay

At our restaurant, our ingredients are locally sourced. Our starters, mains and desserts are freshly made on site. And our famous seven-day carvery consists of 3 joints (4 on Sundays) and is suitable for vegetarians. Interested? Read on...

Our highly commended and fully qualified head chef applies a touch of genius to traditional classics to revolutionise your pub dining experience. Using only the freshest seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce, we bring you top end pub food.

WOW - Great place to stay

All they say for themselves and so much more. Very friendly staff, great rates and superb rooms with views to die for. Not what you would expect from a carvery pub.
Dogs welcome too which is a bonus.
Stayed a week, would have loved to stay longer - my damned work got in the way!
