Report90s classics plus real Devon cider!
Popped into good ol' Henry's Bar on Torbay Road just before Christmas on a Birthday night out and it didn't disappoint! Haven't been here for yonks but was very pleased to hear that the 90s classics were still blasting out all around the place :-) The music may not have changed (well on that night anyway) but it looks to have had a bit of a refit recently whilst still retaining it's old charm. Great selection of drinks behind the bar too with some real ales to choose from and some lovely casks of Devonshire cider - Sweet, medium or dry - whatever your poison! Think I'll be going back soon if only to hear Adamski's Killer booming from the speakers once more ;-)

Friendly traditional pub in the middle of Paignton. Serves good Real Ales (we're in The Good Beer Guide 2012) and delicious homecooked food.

popular and lively
Very popular, friendly and lively pub in Torbay Road. Good selection of beers and drinks, all reasonably priced. This is a perfect place to have a drink before going to the cinema or to one of the Paignton nightclubs later on. The decor is traditional, the staff very chatty and friendly. If you are looking for a traditional English pub, this is your place!!

This well known pub in Paignton was established in 1983. Henry’s Bar on Torbay Road are renowned for having the best pub food in town. A family bar that are extremely friendly and welcoming offer a proper traditional pub feel and a nice relaxed atmosphere on the sea front. Henry’s bar provide ‘real ales, real food at a real pub’.
