We never got to try any chips! We so so annoyed we went back to the car with Subway and drove home!

Oh dear. I will not be going there again either. End of. Such a shame as their chips are really good :-(

We were wanting to sit whilst it was cooked, then we would 'take away' our food.

The manager wasn't much help either!

That sounds ridiculous!!! Were they closing the restaurant or something and just keeping the takeaway open? Still not acceptable though as surely they could have explained this to you??

Also I know it costs more to sit in the restaurant but if that was the case, again that could have been easily explained and then everyone would have been happy. Aggression from staff is totally unacceptable in the service trade :-(
