Local residents will have the opportunity to have their say on the latest Bay issues at a consultation caravan event on Tuesday, August 24, 10.30am to 3.30pm, in Victoria Street, Paignton.

Torbay Council's consultation caravan is a monthly event enabling local people to ask questions and raise concerns directly with the Mayor, council officers and ward councilors.

Topics being discussed at this month's consultation event include The Community Plan, Connections, Torbay Together Facing Up To The Funding Challenge, Youth Offending Team, Democratic Services and British Red Cross.

Mayor of Torbay, Nick Bye, said: "These monthly consultation events provide a fantastic opportunity for Torbay Council to get out and meet its customers - the people of Torbay! This month we are particularly interested to hear views on the Community Plan, what residents’ priorities are and how they can get involved in helping to deliver it."

The Mayor will be in attendance from 11am until 12.30pm.

What is the point of going to one of these? Whatever you say won't change anything, the council an mayor do what they want anyway.
