Torbay Schools’ Festival of Performing Arts starts today

Young Torbay musicians are poised to showcase their talents at the Bay’s premier music event for young people which runs from 22 to 31 March.

The ten day musical extravaganza presents an exciting line up of local young talent including orchestral musicians, songwriters and singers. All events are in the evenings and everyone is welcome.
The competitions are held at Torquay Museum and the Schools' Mixed Festival Nights, Festival Variety Showcase and Last Night Celebration Concert take place at the Riviera International Conference Centre.
The festival is organised by Torbay Council’s music advisory service, the Torbay Academy of Performing Arts (TAPA) is supported by Palm FM, who will be airing regular bulletins and are providing comperes for the festival nights, Trevor George Entertainment UK, VCA Solutions and Dawkes Music.
