Paignton police officers and street wardens commended

Paignton police officers and street wardens have received awards for their outstanding work in the Foxhole area of the town. They were presented with 'community watch' awards for their commitment and support to improving the quality of life for local people, reducing the fear of crime and increasing public reassurance.

PC Mike Copping, PCSO Warren Palmer, PCSO Stewart Yeoman and street wardens Brian Mallaney and Hayley Reed were presented with the awards by Assistant Chief Constable Paul Netherton and Julie Dowton Devon & Cornwall Community Watch chair at a special ceremony.

Jo Young, also from Foxhole was a finalist in the neighbourhood watch co-ordinator category and was awarded a certificate.
