Does anyone have any news on the proposed restoration and re-opening of the old (historic) Torbay Cinema on Torbay Road, next to Paignton Railway Station? I seem to recall reading an article that stated there were moves afoot to restore its almost intact interior and to re-open showing period films.

I always here rumours but little else. I think it would be great to have say weekly showings of classic films much like the Alexandra Cinema in Newton Abbot. I think this would be well received in Paignton and a step in the right direction.
