For those on limited income or otherwise unable to afford or provision Telephone Line Rental/Installation. There are many reasons for this including restricted tariffs and opposing landline operators. I am trying to highlight the dependence many have on a mobile phone. Where users are held to ransom on charges made. Where Authorities paid for by the public go on to rip off and make money from whom they declare they serve. The largest example for the South West being Devon and Cornwall Police.

alandvs - I agree with you. I did write 'whom they declare they serve'. It is certainly 'serve ourselves first' and 'serve others' (if we really have to) with the scraps.

ReportWell done pobox112 for pointing this out, but what ever led you to believe the authorities are there to serve us. Most of us now know that they are out to serve themselves with huge salaries.
