  Well it's that time of year again when Guy Fawkes and co are remembered for the Gunpowder Plot on November 5 and we celebrate this with fireworks, bonfires and the odd Catherine wheel or two. But… Where are the nearest organised firework displays in Paignton this year? Well I have been searching the length and breadth of our fine town over the last week to reveal… that there are strangely no Bonfire night events...

  My favourite local shops in Paignton Although there seems to be a few too many chain shops rearing their ugly heads in Paignton these days, there are still a lot of great local shops to choose from, some of which have been giving great service to people who live in the Bay for many years.   living near goodrington ,i have just tried rescueing a mother duck and 19 baby ducklings from the estate on greatwestern close ,trying to get them away from harm off road a nd seagulls after a neighbour rang rspb and housing office for advice .after no real interest from either ,i left them huddled up under a bush after leaving them a tray off water and just hope they will survive on their own ,i will keep an eye on them .no one else...
