Light snowfall in Paignton

Snow has finally hit Paignton with a light dusting of the white stuff overnight.

There are no reports of any major traffic problems and I'm sorry kids but all the schools are still open!

The Met Office are predicting slightly warmer temperatures in Paignton over the next few days but if by any chance they're spectacularly wrong (!) parents should listen for news on local radio stations Heart FM, Palm FM and Radio Devon from 7.30am each morning.

School closures will also be listed on the council's website from 8.30am and stay tuned to Paignton People for any snow related news during the coming winter months.
