Events in Paignton to occupy your kids over the summer holidays

Paignton – often touted as Torbay’s most family friendly town – is better equipped than most to combat bored child syndrome over the school summer holidays.

Here is a few of the town's events summer events that will definitely keep the kids occupied and engaged...
- Paignton Carnival Week: Runs from Saturday, July 24 to Sunday, August 1 all week on Paignton Green. Anderton and Rowland Carnival Fun Fair from 11am to 11.15pm. Bar/Catering from 11am to 11pm. Charity stalls all week. Craft Marquee 11am tp loate daily. See: Carnival
- Paignton Regatta: Runs from Saturday, August 7 to Sunday, August 15. The traditional seaside event is again held on Paignton Green and includes athletic events, fun fair, fireworks and lots more.
- Children’s Festival: Held on Paignton Green from Wednesday, August 18 to Friday, August 20. A packed programme includes entertainment, art workshops, live music and lots more. See: Festival
- Occombe Music Festival: Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29. Festival opens at 12pm each day with music from 2-11pm. See: Occombe
