It's still a fact that everyone uses cars, so the government need to realise that lots and lots of people can't cope with such prices. There's no use using any environmental argument because it's simply not an option for most people to live without cars.

Not everyone uses cars at all.
.
There are still many pedestrians out there, yours truly included, who growl at the thought of paying the oil fat cats any more!
It is just that the steel box on four wheels (or more) has become a comfort zone in our lives which some of us, for whatever reason, cannot do without.
I'm seriously think of getting an electric car for my next method of transport! Surely that's the way forward?

ReportIt has nothing to do with the price of the fuel. It is the amount of TAX put on it. Can you image the amount of people that will be run over by electric cars? As I believe many people listen for vehicles when crossing the road. I realise you need to look as well, but two senses go together for many.
Im with @grumpyguy on this one. and before anyone says "Get a local job" Yeah Right! I have been trying for the last 6 years. It is our own government who Tax fuel heavily to pay help pay for all our EU and overseas payment commitments . One wouldn't mind so much if it was spent on our own roads and transportation system.Instead, we have to put up with a rapidly decaying one.

ReportJust seen it's 131.9 at Paignton Sainsburys too. Good if you fancy doing the weekly shop at the same time... Oh joy.
