Please no. These coffee chains are one of my real bug bears. I don't want to line the pockets of such corporations.

The problem is Paignton's home grown coffee shop scene isn't exactly awe inspiring. The ones on Palace Avenue are pretty dire, can't think of many more central. Cafe Tutto is okay but has a bit of a corporate feel IMHO.

The palace coffee bar does a mean breakfast though! Not really a costa fan either.

Not a patch on Cafe Tutto but the extra competition might force some of the other coffee bars in town to step up their game a bit and, at least, improve their level of service.
