Is it me or do we seem to have an epidemic of cars with unnecessarily loud exhausts tearing around the place? There is an endless stream of them along the seafront in Preston on most nights, and Lammas Lane seems to be another favourite road to scream up and down at high speed. These things are in fact illegal, but nothing ever gets done about it.
