Latest news on the stricken tug off Torquay: the Emstrom hull has now sunk. The ship had been decommissioned and was empty, so it's hoped that the environmental damage that it will cause will be minimal. Meanwhile the Christos XXII, which contains 200 tonnes of diesel and could cause an environmental threat if it sinks, is still afloat. There are hopes that it can be safely patched up.
