Where are Paignton problem hotspots?
-
Crackdown on antisocial behaviour.
A mobile CCTV van is ready for use in Torbay from tomorrow (Wednesday, July 14) to help combat anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the Bay.
The vehicle contains state of the art recording equipment to monitor areas where ASB has been reported.
Police say that the equipment is so high-tech that the images will be permissible in court as evidence.
Officers want the public to report any anti-social behaviour in the area to the ASB Hotline so that the van can be stationed in the right places.
The ASB Hotline is 01803 207900 or emailasb@torbay.gov.uk
The van was awarded to Torbay as part of the Criminal Justice System’s ‘Community Cashback’ scheme, which gives local people a say in how money recovered from criminal assets should be spent.

Looks like the van will be camped in Foxhole for a while then!
