Friendly and cosy
This place has been here for more years than I care to remember! It's up near the theatre and the Palace Ave park. It is a lovely cafe/coffee house.
Very friendly staff and great home made cakes but we often call in for a tea cake and a pot of tea or a baked potato for lunch. They do a great breakfast though as has already been mentioned.

Best Breakfast in the Bay!
Have been coming here for years since my acting days at the theatre and have always been greeted with a friendly smile and delicious cakes!
Now it's the perfect place for a hearty breakfast and a proper frothy coffee plus they do mini breakfasts for the young uns. Basically the best brekkie in town :-)By thespinthief at 08:40 on 26/03/10

This has been about for ages. The fact it's still here is testament to the quality of its coffee (obviously) but also the food (their lasagne is my fav!). Usually very busy and the Greek owner, Mr Gerolimatos is always very friendly.
