It's that time again, Halloween is over (well almost!) and the next job on the list is sorting out the office Christmas party.

Whoever you want to pull your crackers with, be it old friends, work colleagues, or the ever-growing extended family… You'll want to find the perfect place for some Christmas cheer and as always Paignton has plenty to offer. 

Starting on the seafront, The Inn On The Green on Esplanade Road invites you to have two three-course meals for just £25.

There's seasonal flavours on the menu like spiced autumn fruit puddings, roasted root vegetables and indulgent chocolate desserts, and of course Christmas isn't Christmas without generous slices of tender turkey, rich fruity puddings and mince pies.

A little further down Esplanade Road, The Palace Hotel have a classy festive menu for you to enjoy in luxury surroundings.

A three-course evening dinner is available for £25 per head, while their three-course lunch option is very reasonably priced at £16.95. They normally require a minimum of 10 people per booking (but please call 01803 555121 for individual requirements).

Moving away from the town centre, if you fancy the traditional British pub atmosphere for a Christmas party, then go no further than the excellent Waterside Inn on Dartmouth Road.

The friendly managers John and Christine Rout would love you to sample their three-course Christmas Fayre menu for just £11.95 per person. They also offer a children's menu priced at only £5.95 per child, and if your booking is for eight people or more, the organiser will happily go home with a complimentary bottle of wine for their trouble.

You and your staff can have a truly unique Christmas party within the heart of Paignton Zoo, enjoying sumptuous food and drink whilst dancing the night away in their festive Island Restaurant.

Finally, once you've booked the Christmas knees up, if you really want to get ahead of the game then why not treat the whole family to a 'Santa Special' at Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway on Torbay Road this December.

On the Santa Special steam train there will be a festive drink and mince pie for the adults and a lolly for each child. It's then full steam ahead to Kingswear where you'll watch the Robin Hood Pantomime and visit Santa's Grotto. Refreshments are available at The Belle Bistro in Kingswear.
