Paignton beach is very easy to find, with only a couple of minutes on foot from the train and bus station. This sandy beach gets very busy in the summer and when the weather is nice you need to get there quite early to find a good spot to sunbathe. There are plenty of refreshment kiosks around as well as many pubs with an outside seating area, such as The Spinning Wheel or George Carvery, so you will feel spoilt for choice when looking for a place to eat or have a drink. Donkey rides are available on the nearby Green, and in the late spring/summer there’s a fair, free concerts, Children’s Week and other live entertainment.

ReportNice spot. Lots of pubs and places to eat which offer great sea views. Places like the Spinning Wheel offer good live entertainment too. The green is often packed in the summer with people playing football and frisbie. Nearby there's plenty of local shops and the arcades too.
