Great location and latest releases
Located on the seafront with plenty of pay-and-display parking around, Apollo Cinema is a perfect place for an evening out, not only offering the latest cinema releases on a number of screens, but an opportunity to have a walk on the beach before or after the movie or a quiet drink/meal in many eateries and pubs around. On Saturdays and Sundays at 11am they show family movies with ticket prices at £2 a person. One of the screens is licensed, there is also a bar and a shop selling popcorn, sweets, hot dogs and soft drinks.

Loads of screens
The Apollo has a number of screens, so there is always something for everyone - even if you want to watch Harry Potter without loads of children!
The directors screens is adults only and allows you to take alcohol in.
Plenty of comfy seats in all the screens.
Orange Wednesdays are always good value, and if you're not an Orange customer, they often do reduced prices on a Tuesday night! Great stuff!By Devon_Girl at 15:05 on 18/03/11

All you need from a cinema
The Apollo is always up-to-date with the latest films in both 2D and 3D. It’s always packed, so it’s well worth booking for the new releases. Orange Wednesday’s is a very, very popular weekly occasion.

Tuesday Value
Tuesday is a good day to head to the apollo as they have films for a reduced rate. The director's screens are good for over 18s as you can take a drink in with you. Orange Wednesdays are good too for a 241 discount. A good cinema with lots to see

Best cinema in the region
The Apollo is the best cinema about. It has loads of screens, all the latest releases and a wide variety of refreshments.
