Would like to hear what others think about the Herald Express going weekly as from July?
I have sent an email asking if readers contributions will still be carried. I think this will be the demise of a decent paper

I think the standard of the HE has declined a lot in recent years, it was a little over-stretched I guess. There's been rumours of this for ages but yeah, still a shock.

ReportMaybe Spin but I doubt if we will get as much coverage, it is like books being read on Kindle now (including mine) - it is not quite the same as a real book.
But I guess I am just plain old fasahioned!

Would still like to see newspapers in general kept on sale though. Re. your comments about readers contributions - surely we can just do that on here now or This Is sites? I think this side of things is an improvement as you can write your own stories and comments and post them immediately when the news is at its most relevant.
