Police have siezed £30,000 worth of heroin in a raid on a property in Paignton
Approximately one third of a kilo of heroin in a compressed block was seized, thought to have a street value of around £30,000. A quantity of cash between £5,000 and £10,000 was also seized. Three people were arrested at the scene.
James Thompson, 33, who was living at Totnes Road but is from the Liverpool area, was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs. He was due to appear at South Devon Magistrates' Court yesterday morning.
A 38-year-old man from Totnes Road, Paignton and an 18-year-old woman of Queen Elizabeth Drive, Paignton have both been given police bail for conspiracy to supply heroin until 10 December 2012 while police carry out further enquiries.
