Motorcyclist dies after serious road traffic accident on Broadsands Road in Paignton.
A motorcyclist has died in hospital after a serious road traffic accident on Broadsands Road, Paignton this morning.
Police were called to the scene after ambulance control reported that a motorcyclist had been seriously injured following a collision just after 9am, September 5.
Broadsands Road is currently closed between Windy Corner and Cherrybrook Drive.
At this stage it is not clear if any other vehicles were involved in the collision.

UPDATE... The deceased has been named as John Manley, aged 74, from Brixham.

ReportUPDATE... The deceased is thought to be a local man in his seventies.
No other vehicles are thought to have been involved in the collision.
Police have amended the location of the collision to Dartmouth Road near Galmpton Broadway.
The road has now been reopened.
