Brave members of the public came to the rescue after a couple became trapped in a car when it overturned in South Devon.
The woman was driving a Peugeot 107 outside Oak Tree Yard in Upper Manor Road in Paignton when her car collided with a blue Vauxhall Zafira.
The Peugeot came to rest on its roof leaving the elderly female driver, and a passenger, trapped.
One of the cars ended up crashing into the wall of a property, although it is not clear which car.
Courageous members of the public tipped the car back on to its wheels before firefighters or police had arrived.
Paramedics arrived at the scene, along with firefighters, and found the elderly driver of the 107 conscious and breathing.
She was found to be suffering from a back injury and was placed onto a spinal board and taken to Torbay Hospital.
Police say her injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.
The driver of the Zafira, a woman in 40s, was not injured.
Oldway Road was closed to allow council workers to clear glass from the road and the cars be recovered.
The road was reopened at 11:45am.
