Manor's unbeaten record is retained by a whisker

DIVISION One leaders and defending Torbay Netball League champions Manor Builders came from behind to beat Appleby's and preserve their unbeaten record.

Manor had been down to six players for most of the game but pulled out all the stops and in the end won 36-34.

Players of the match were Appleby's Chris Lewis and Manor's Becky Annunziata.

Devon DJ Devils played Sea Snacks. After a close first quarter with only three goals in it, DJs pulled away and won by 42-24.

Laura Gough (Devils) and Karen Coote (Sea Snacks) were players of the match.

Loxton Ladies won their match against Dawn's Army 34-32. Loxton's Lucy Darke had a great game, securing her another PoM. Jackie Tulley was PoM for Sea Snacks.

Plainmoor Gulls A were ahead after each quarter against Mount Stuart, securing a winning scoreline of 39-23. The players of the match were Gulls' Lauren Embury and Mount Stuart's Sally Young.

DIVISION TWO

PAIGNTON Body Repairs won their game against Linden Homes 37-12.

With Linden still trying out new positions and players, Paignton Body Repairs dominated throughout.

Debbie Cartwright was PoM for PBR, showing her versatility and strength in defence. Centre Jo Langford was the Linden PoM.

Service Masters took an early lead against Ark Angles and went on to win 39-35.

Ark Angels didn't make it an easy win, pulling back the score in the final quarter to be within four goals.

Donna Rushbrook secured PoM for Service Masters by demonstrating some fantastic shooting. Ark Angels' PoM Jen Henwood had a strong game.

Wellswood Ceramics found a seventh player in time for their game against Tornado Tigers, who were a lady down from start to finish.

The first two quarters were close with Wellswood pulling away in the third.

Tigers came back with a strong final quarter but not enough to win. The final score was 39-28 to Wellswood. Players of the match were Wellswood's Charis Ridge and Tigers' Emma Browne.

Plainmoor Gulls B won their game against Harbourway Hawks 37-29, to go third in the table. Gulls were behind for the first half of the match, but took over in the third quarter then went on to score 10 goals in the final quarter.

Natasha Johns (Gulls) and Laura Harris (Harbourway) were the players of the match.

DIVISION THREE

BOBCATS led throughout against South Devon College until the final quarter, when they were pegged back to a 22-22 draw.

Players of the match were Bobcats' Lisa Southwell and Zoe Pawley for the College.

Absolute Sales and Lettings won their game against 4 Most Ltd 36-16. Players of the match were Sophie Lee (Absolute) and Sarah Smith (4 Most).

Twinkle Toes played Oggy Oggy Pasties. The Score after the first two quarters was 12-9 giving Oggy some hope of a win. Twinkle Toes had a fantastic final two quarters leaving it in no doubt who the winners were.

Players of the match were Emily West (Twinkle Toes) and Steph Stewart (Oggy Oggy).
