Over the past few weeks the UK has been experiencing severe adverse weather conditions.

Torrential rain and high winds causing flooding, power cuts, damage to homes and businesses plus severe delays and damage to railways and roads have brought parts of the country to a standstill.

Parts of the UK are braced for more wild weather and flooding, with winds of up to 70mph forecast to hit some coastal areas particularly in the South and West of England.
