Firefighters have been tackling a barn blaze at Compton, near Paignton
When they arrived at Shiphay Farm at Compton, firemen found the barn was well alight. Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. At 4am relief crews were called in from Ashburton and Brixham, and steady progress was made.
The fire is now being damped down and fire investigation officers will be investigating today (Wednesday 28 November) to see how the fire started.
